Yoga With Melissa Bell

Melissa has been a perpetual student of yoga since late 2000 and began her teacher training certification journies in the fall of 2004. With a foundational background in BKSIyengar’s teachings, Melissa invites each practicioner on an INdividual exploration to find the center line of their bodies. By offering expansive opportunites through the “subtleties of yoga”, energetic discoveries are made.

With the use of props and presence, Melissa guides students into a place she celebrates as, stillness of body ~ steadiness of breath: where the physiological magic of yoga truly begins. She believes there is no greater gift than making yoga accessible to every body and having a student move into feeling more capable in their embodiment both on, and off, the mat.

Asana is a tool. Yoga is a path. The practices & practitioners are the teaching. Melissa creates a container of internal awareness that opens others to trust themselves more.

The Subtleties of Yoga with Melissa

1st Thursdays~ 6:15-7:15

Join Melissa in her offering of intentional warm up, strong standing asana practice and extended shavasana to close out your weekday and invite bodily ease into your night

3rd Sundays~ 11:30-1:00

During this time, Melissa brings supportive container creation holding through personalized conversation that leads to the unfolding of a deeply therapeutic and restorative asana class with the use of props and being. Next class is Sunday May 18th.
